I’ve always believed that art is more than a set of techniques—it’s a way of seeing, listening, and discovering new perspectives. My early journey was shaped by a love for visual storytelling: first in Beijing at Tsinghua University, where I honed my foundation in Visual Communication Design, and then at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where I deepened my practice through experimental installations and conceptual art. In those formative years, I delved into everything from typography to community-based art projects, eager to explore the many ways art and design can spark conversation and bring people together.

That curiosity ultimately led me to an internship at Someoddpilot Creative Agency in Chicago, where I had the chance to work on the Patagonia Action Works website redesign. Collaborating with the marketing team at Patagonia was a revelation—it was the moment I realized how much a strong brand strategy and storytelling can shape a company’s relationship with its community worldwide. After seeing how design and marketing intersected to inspire real-world impact, I knew I wanted to pivot toward marketing full-time.

Whether leading multi-channel marketing campaigns, optimizing website performance, developing omni-channel content strategies, or forging partnerships with influencers, I’ve come to believe that a well-crafted marketing strategy is really just storytelling with a purpose. My background in fine art and graphic design informs every campaign I touch, uniting aesthetics, core message, and data to create experiences that truly resonate.
